Ken Feldt is Managing Partner of Electric Book Company, Richmond, VA.

EBC Develops tools to re-purpose instructional content in service to post secondary students of all ages and backgrounds, particularly students engaged in developing skills in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines.

Ken has long worked in the digital media industry – from a career start in digital imaging technology with Eastman Kodak, to work on high speed electronic printing systems for Moore Corporation (now RR Donnelley) which resulted in a patent award for high performance data-driven image processing.

More recently, Ken has become engaged in web publishing standards, authored a book on browser internals (Programming Firefox – O’Reilly), and worked with development teams for an international soccer site and a major scientific and educational publishing company.

Ken currently pays the bills by providing development services for a branch of the federal government; he spends his ‘sweat equity’ work-time nourishing Electric Book to commercialize the next generation educational products integrating structured document management architectures, mobile browser technology, and digital video.

When not wondering how to manage character escapements in mathematical notation, he re-lives his youth by cycling the roads of central Virginia.
