Katie Klein is a doctoral student and adjunct faculty at the University of South Carolina. She was a middle and high school media specialist for ten years and holds professional educator certification as a school librarian in South Carolina. Katie is a research assistant for an IMLS funded study on the impact of identity on library workers' routines. She plans to start her dissertation study on charter school libraries in 2024. After graduation Katie will seek a full-time LIS faculty position in order to research and prepare the next generation of school librarians.
