Sharon Tjaden-Glass is an instructional media designer for the eLearning Division of Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. She previously taught ESL in higher education and in intensive English programs for 13 years. She served as the newsletter for the Intercultural Communication Interest Section for TESOL International (2018-2020) and now currently serves as the ICIS community manager. Her current areas of interest and research are open educational resources, instructional design, online learning, and intercultural communication. She currently organizes a monthly networking session via Zoom that connects TESOL professionals who are seeking to enter the field of instructional design with current instructional designers. Outside of TESOL, she creates content for two YouTube channels: a cooking channel that she and her husband have created (called Our Final Freezer) and a channel for TESOL professionals and intermediate English learners (called Lucky Frog English). She holds an M.A. in TESOL, a B.A. in Linguistics and French, and a graduate certificate in Technology-Enhanced Learning.
