Michelle Turnbull began teaching English and the Humanities in 2005. Michelle taught high school English for 14 years in Brooklyn, NY. Currently, she teaches Developmental English as an Adjunct Professor at Passaic County Community College in New Jersey. In addition to teaching, Michelle is one of the co-coordinators of the College Now Humanities 1 department at Kingsborough Community College located in Brooklyn, NY. She enjoys coordinating and presenting professional development workshops.

Michelle's areas of interests include art, music, history, philosophy, Shakespeare, theater and poetry. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English as well as Omicron Delta Kappa the National Leadership Honor Society whose focus is on community service.
