Lora specializes in design education and visual communication launching her career working as a pattern designer at a textile and rug company…yes, in the ’90s—it’s been a minute! Back in the day, these designs were hand-painted with very fine brushes. A leadership role at a marketing company opened the door to event, package and publication design. For over a decade, sharing her sophisticated design and software knowledge with students became the focus. Her teaching experience comes from over a decade as a graphic design instructor at The Art Institute of California-San Diego. Today, a balance of education and graphic design business, specializing in event design marketing.
Lora has a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, a B.A. in Graphic Design and studied product design.
