I have been through the ranks of K-12 education from coach, parent, teacher, instructional technology specialist, data specialist, and technology director. I currently am employed with the Michigan Department of Education as an Educational Technology consultant. My position has brought on a lot of excitement around OER use in K-12 as I oversee the repository https://goopenmichigan.org. I am also a K-12 representative in the Michigan OER Network that includes representation from several colleges and universities in Michigan. I love listening to and sharing stories about OER and have had the honor of presenting to educators in Kazakhstan as part of their "Caravan of Knowledge" series.
