- introducing the OER SUCCESS model and how it is used to train faculty, staff, and students to implement the five R's of OER,
- exploring model components to discover how it reinforces OER implementation based on course content, teaching style, and student needs, and
- showcasing a few of the model's course activities to assess how it can be customized for a variety of users.
The OER SUCCESS model is made up of seven components that may be utilized for guiding individuals in locating, evaluating, selecting, customizing, implementing and potentially publishing OER. The model is currently applied as a three-course, continuous learning series that corresponds to a grant-supported, university wide OER initiative where participants earn a stipend and micro-credentials for completion.
