I have been involved with academic libraries for more than seven years, where I served as a Reference/Instruction Librarian, Assistant Director and Library Director at the American University of Kuwait since 2007. Previously, I worked in a privately-funded public library where I served as an Information Specialist. In 2005, I established and lead the first blog for library and information professionals in Kuwait, which was the only real discussion group on libraries, the LIS Café. My main subject interests include Information Literacy, Library Assessment, and Library Management. I have published about “Outreach Services in Academic Libraries.
